Aggies Win Vs. Nevada @ Nevada!
Wow in a heck of a game we beat Nevada 80 to 79 on their home court. Their fans were silent after the last ball was thrown with 3.8 seconds left on the clock for two points! Oh it was a tense game!

It was a tight game at the start but the aggies really pulled away and played with some heart. I hope they can keep it up tonight @9pm PST to take on the Nevada Wolf Pack. Final score vs. San Jose State was 90 to 69.
We got in late last night and checked-in, to our surprise we found out all the normal rooms were taken and they asked if we would mind an upgrade. So here we are in their new “Tuscany Tower”. The place is NICE. OMG the only downer was the late late dinner we had last night, Steak and Eggs, was THE WORSE steak I ever had. At least the eggs and the hashbrowns were good.

Like all great trips, this one had to come to an end. We ended up having dinner the last night at a yummy pizza place and the kids again had a blast. Here is a little parting image and video!

Oh what a blast at the water park. It was gorgeous weather, the water was nice and the slides were a blast. We spent a good portion of the day there and got to even test the Olympus’s waterproofedness!

The sleeper hit of the trip. I loved and totally enjoyed the audio tour on the USS Midway. It was lots of fun and the kids did well too. I mostly was too busy enjoying the trip around the ship to snap a lot of photos, but got a few and a few videos too. After the USS Midway we went on a harbor cruise of the north san diego bay. It was cool, saw the modern equivalent to “battleship row”. That evening we capped it off at Mission Bay which is a really neat rec area where the kids had a blast playing in the pool. Our little engineer even made a river all the way to the ocean…

One might say this was the highlight of the trip. The kids REALLY enjoyed lego land, and I thought the wild animal park was a great start to the day. Here are some images highlighting the day. I wish we had more images from the cool rollercosters we road, but videos of the races at legoland will follow!

And we even had a birthday on the trip…

My first CD-ROM drive I ever got came with a CD about the San Diego Zoo, every since then I was excited to go. It didn’t disappoint and here are some of the highlights from that day…

And a bug that looked just like a leaf:

Another highlight was the science show too:

Sea World was pretty cool. The first show “Shamu’s Believe” show was pretty fun. The kids wanted to sit in row one right up front of the “Soak Zone”, I obliged, and indeed got soaked but also got some great images from it too…the rest of the day was a lot of walking, shows, and the like and involved being pretty darn wet…
